It is a matter of well known fact among my friends that I am indeed Wiccan. Most of my family is Wiccan and I myself have been practicing officially since I was two years old.

With That Said

I do not worship, or believe in, the devil. I am not a granola nut, I do not believe nature is comprised purely of goodness and love. I do not claim to follow an old religion nor do I believe in worshipping the Goddess alone.

Here is what I do believe in

"When one defines oneself as Pagan, it means she or he follows an earth or nature religion, one that sees the divine manifest in all creation. The cycles of nature are our holy days, the earth is our temple, its plants and creatures our partners and teachers. We worship a deity that is both male and female, a mother Goddess and father God, who together created all that is, was, or will be. We respect life, cherish the free will of sentient beings, and accept the sacredness of all creation."

Edain McCoy

I don't claim to have all the answers.

But I will attempt to add my bit about my personal choice of religion onto the vast world of the internet.

As it stands, I am at the level of a 2nd Degree in most Wiccan traditions. I will be at my 3rd degree in about 1 year. To achieve this, what is usually considered the highest degree, one must work very hard. This involves teaching others, as always, I am availible for counsel, teaching, or just to listen. So feel free to go to the Contact Me page, and do so.

Top 10 Best Things About Being Wiccan

Top Ten Best Things About Being Wiccan

NOTE: Being Wiccan does not necessarily mean becoming a Witch. One can be Wiccan without being a Witch. A Wiccan, as defined in this article, is one who wishes to live in harmony and serenity with the earth and all her inhabitants, and abides by the Wiccan Rede.

10. No conversion or recruitment is necessary. Wiccans have no insecure compulsion to convert everyone to their way of thinking. People come to Wicca when they're ready. Furthermore you are not required to accept or do anything you're not comfortable with.
9. No artificial code of morality. Out of all the creatures on this earth, only humans are forced to live under unnatural moral codes. Wiccans believe simply, "An it harm none, do as you will."
8. Progressive reincarnation. Wiccans believe we are here to learn and progress, not suffer eternal damnation if we "slip up" in someone else's eyes.
7. No discrimination. You don't have to be the "right" race, color, gender, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin to be Wiccan; all are welcome.
6. No middle man (or woman). Once you know the basics, you can be your own minister. You need never bow before (or rely on) some religious dictator for spiritual guidance, you go straight to the source.
5. Be yourself. By sharing a common interest with others in Wicca, you do not lose your identity as an individual. You are unique and can and should stay that way without becoming a blob in homogeneous mass.
4. No repression. Wiccans are not forbidden from reading, learning, eating, drinking, or saying anything. You can actually even disagree with something without being "excommunicated."
3. Contribution. No, not money - knowledge. The Craft has always, and will always, be an experimental religion. If it works, we use it. Then share it so all in the Craft may benefit.
2. No rigid dogma. Wiccans do not believe that their path is the only path. The only true path is the one that is best for you; and all paths are valid if they harm none.
1. Self-empowerment. I personally view Wicca as the "Ultimate Self Help Tool." Feeling under the weather? low on cash? need to get ahead at work? protection? spiritual guidance? serenity? Whatever you need you can get through Wicca.
