Animals

I'm an animal rights activist. I love the every animal on this earth, and if you don't feel the same way...well these links won't be of much good to you will they?

Animal Land is a kid-friendly website that has lots of fun activities to help teach kids about animal-rights

PETA is an animal rights website. It's got a lot of news and information on what's going on in the world of animal rights, and is probably one of the most active animal rights websites around.

All three of my cats were strays, I don't believe in breeding animals in a world where so many of them live homeless. This website will help you adopt an animal who is homeless.

The Animal Rescue Site gained notoriety by providing a button that people can click once a day to have sponsers fund food for animals in shelters. I visit this website daily and you should too.

Anime

My definition of Anime is a television show, drawn in traditional or some varient of a japanese style that usually depicts the events in a previously published manga. It's not called japanime or animanga, and if you call it that I will shoot you.

Don't be thrown off by the crappy looking button. Anime lyrics is the biggest database of j-music, anime and gaming music lyrics out there. You can search for the songs by name, artist, series, or using the fuzzy romanji search.

Animenation is one of the best anime-resources on the web EVER. It's got oodles of stuff, lots of information, links, and community services (which means letting you talk to other anime freaks). It has practically everything.

Many otaku are known for creating shrines to their favorite series or character on the web. This website has a list of various shrines, a huge image gallery of various anime, and a basic guide to a lot of anime that everyone should know.

The Otaku (The Anime Fan) is a place where otaku can go and take random anime and gaming quizzes, read articles, find cosplay help, fan art and send e-cards. Don't forget to sign up!

Bisexuality

I'm Bi. I've been out...forever. Bisexuality is being sexually attracted to both sexes. There's nothing wrong with it, or homosexuality or hetersexuality. They're lifestyles, if you don't approve of one, then I don't approve of you.

Though the webdesign is a little tedious, this website has a fairly good selection of resources.

Bisexual is a website that serves more for meeting other bisexuals. It does have some useful information, and is targeted towards North Americans

Cats

I LOVE Cats! I have three, they're all insane. When I grow up I want to be a crazy old cat lady.

We already know that About.com is phenom in the world of online resources. But their cat section is to DIE for.

You take the test by inputting information about your cat, physical, lifestyle, ect. It helps you determine the 'age' of your cat and then gives you great tips on how to improve

A huge database of information, lots of links to other cat websites, and forums to talk to other cat lovers

Depression

It's a disease people. We're not just making it up, it hurts and most of the damn time you don't know why. I have depression, but I'm learning to deal. The websites below can help, also please PLEASE feel free to contact me if you need to talk. Okay?

Help with understanding, treating, and othe resources for depression.

Depression and Related Affective Disorders Association is what it stands for. It's got facts, and programs on depression.

Depression Community

HealthyPlace.com's Depression community has information, support, chats, resources, online deprssion tests and more.

Drawing

I love to draw. I never really used tutorials except to get ideas. But most people seem to like learning by copying an example. Whatever works for you I guess...

A small collection of very useful drawing tutorials. Needs more though...

It's a great site for the beginner artist. Focusing mostly on head tutorials, It needs to be fleshed out more..

Manga Tutorials

Although they lack a banner, Manga Tutorials is singularly the best Manga drawing site out there.

Graphics

I use online graphic resources to provide me with something to work with for my website designs. Here are a few that I use

Advanced Anime has a gallery of various anime-style graphics

Boyis is by far one of the biggest wallpaper websites I have ever seen. They seem to specialize in CG wallpaper and they have a beautiful selection. For anyone that is looking for a gorgeous CG wallpaper to cut up and use on their site Boyis is the best there is.

Manga Style specializes in images from the manga/anime Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.

Quizzles

As you can tell from the Personality Quiz Results page, I love to take online quizzes. If you do as well, here are my favorite quiz sites...

Everyone should already know this site, the best quiz site EVER. With quizzes on EVERYTHING

A few funny and utterly random quizzes.

Tickle has fun and informative quizzes, lots of them.

Scanlation

Not everyone can afford to buy manga, and some manga haven't even been published in America yet. Though I usually do buy my manga, I know some of you can't...for you here are some links to Scanlations (scan+translations of manga)

Selene Scans is one of the best scanlation sites out there. Hosting various well known manga, and some lesser known. Including Blue Seed, Hana Yori Dango, Full Moon Wo Sagashite, and Wink Rain. It's a must see!

MangaVision is an excellent translation site. Hosting a few good shoujou AND shonen manga as well as some artbooks. The only problem is that, it is in French. However, it is easy enough to navigate even if you only know a little french (or if you know none at all). Some of the links are dead however...

The Sims 2

My addiction to The Sims and The Sims 2 has lead me to compile some of the best download sites out there for this fabulously enjoyable game.

TRR, or The Sims Resource is the biggest resource for downloadables, tutorials, programs and anything else relating to the hit video games The Sims and The Sims 2. While it's emphasis is on The Sims 2 (with a vide variety of clothing, genetics and lots) it also has a large selection of The Sims downloads. They are a paid site however, but they have a large free-download area which they rotate every three days.

Mod The Sims 2 spawned from most Simmer's need to hack the game to make it a lot more interesting to play. Now it has expanded to include some of the most innovative hacks, most creative clothing, and most realistic downloadables ever.

Wow! All-About-Style has amazing skins. They have a specialty area for Victorian era clothes that I love. Also their selection of everyday clothing is breathtakingly beautiful, especially in the game.
